I thought you were interested in showing him?  Pretty sure neutering him would put an end to that...

How much time does he spend in the kennel on an average day?  Are you near him while he's kennelled, or is he isolated?

What kind of bedding do you use?  How do you clean it, if applicable, after he's messed it?

never got the papers and hes already past the standard in size. about 4-6 hours on week days which my dad will come let them out, not harddly any during the weekends, im off. hes hadthe same cotton stuffed bed from day one of having him. hes only kenneled when im gone or sleeping so isolated,i clean it with natures miraclewasher detergent.

Hm...  sounds like you're doing everything right...  maybe try changing the bed?  Even if you're using the detergent with enzymes, if it's become a regular thing, it may not be working well enough because of the cotton (absorbant) filling, or perhaps he's just associated it.

Nah, that's the Dobie Lean.  One of the first dobie aspects I was acquainted to!  lol  They don't all do it, but a pretty significant portion do.  It's like the nose bump...  it's saying "Hi!  Here I am, love on me now!"

thats kind of what i thought but i wanted to be sure. also his ears are back when i pet him and also tail is down when vistors pet him, is that normal too? he doesnt seem scared but havinghis ears back gives that impression everyone that comes over says hes like a bambi haha.
