So Steve was really good at come, sit, stay, and lay down before we got his ears done.  With the cone on his head he still comes, and sits, but lay down because hard because he couldn't track my hand and would get too excited for the cookies.

I was working with him in the yard and decided to extra reward when he finally laid down.. it worked all right.. I'd walk across the yard and call him, he's come running full tilt, slam into a sit, and then fall into a lay down.  He did this a few times.. haha.. I guess tying tricks together in a sequence won't be that hard for him after all.

Sounds like Steve has a real handle on it all.. Good for him.. Does he still sleep with his snake?

Oh yes, him and the snake are best buds in his crate.  Its his favorite alarm on the weekends because mommy is mean and takes him potty and puts him back to bed so I can sleep past 5:30am.  He takes the snakes tail and squeak-squeak-squeaks it so I wake up and play with him.  ;)
