Ok- So like 2 times prior Raven has jumped up on the couch and tried to pee and once in her sleep she peed on her blanket on the couch (this was all a couple months ago before she was housebroke). So tonight she is chillin in the chair with josh and Cisco and I are having a discussion over near the couch (long story but Cisco was being a really bad boy tonight) Well Cisco decided he wasnt listening to me any longer and went on a zoomie rampage around the room. Well raven decided to join in and when she jumped down Josh moved and there was pee all over the chair and then he realized she peed on him too. I don't know why she did this and am at a total loss....

Excited, nervous, sleepy, scared???? ANY Suggestioms????? I am at a loss like I said!

Umm- I cleaned her up and I put her in her crate- We cleaned up Chair and let her outside and she peed a tiny bit... I let her come on the couch with me because I felt bad about yelling at her... And she just peed on me and the couch! Ugh Is something wrong with her? Maybe UTI???? HELLLLLP!

Mandy (pretty sure it's Mandy)

Anyway, don't feel alone. Jewel has wet the sofa while she was sleeping twice in about 3 months. "Bed Wetting!" She's not getting up and squatting, she's sound asleep, chasing rabbits asleep. We didn't know the first time til I saw toby sniffing the sofa and I went and looked. There was a wet spot. Not alot, but a wet spot. Looked her over and one of her back legs was wet too. She's been house trained for a long time now. If she has to go out, she'll come sit in front of one of us and do that talking thing, "Hey, I wanna go outside". After I noticed, I brought her out and she went like normal. I don't know how to fix this, even if I can. They'er is no way to mark the event. I really think she doesn't know she's doing this. Kinda like a child that wets the bed. What do you do? You can't fuss at them.  We DO give her PLENTY of outside time so it's not like she's going to explode. As a matter of fact, I've known her to hold it for a loooooong time when we'd be on a roadtrip.

The strategy we'er taking is making real sure she's well drained before (with a confimation) we let her crash out in the evening and before we go to bed at night. So far so good.

I'm hoping it's just a faze she's going through. I've never had that happen before with other dogs.

All I got for ya is moral support.

If it seems to increase in frequency, I'd call your vet.  Sometimes they can have issues with their bladder control and need a medication to help hold it properly.  I would especially watch to see if she does it when she's excited and hasn't gone out.. or if she's just not aware she's peeing..

Not fun either way.

Just a thought...  You might check with the dog kennel to see if Miss Raven had any peeing problems there.  Just to be sure that it hasn't been going on longer than you thought.  The difference between 2 days & 5 or 6 might mean a quicker trip to the vet if it's a medical problem...

Ella is terrified of storms. TERRIFIED! She stays on top of me, so I figured it's better to just get in bed so we have room to stretch out. (Storms are good sleeping weather anyways.) So Ella hides under the covers and whimpers until she falls asleep. Then I use my best ninja moves to sneak out of the bed without waking sleeping beauty and go clean or something. I can't get her even close to a door to go out. So I try to make sure that she goes out and is completely empty when I know it's going to rain.

This last bad storm we had, Ella peed on my bed. I don't know if the thunder scared her to pee, or if she peed in her sleep and the thunder woke her up after. Either way, my mattress had a date with the steam cleaner. Good thing I had already gotten up, and that I have an extra bed to sleep in.

I feel your pain. I'm with Gunny, only moral support here.

Hope the best for you...don't have any advice.  They do get screwed up sometimes after being boarded, but this happened before that too, right??

I'm laughing at you Jensen - ninja moves!

Thanks for the moral support- She was sleeping when she peed on couch- the chair incident I am not so sure of- She was just laying with josh and then got up all excited to play w. Cisco and josh felt it. I will definately call the kennel and see if she noticed anything!

Thanks so much all!

Well I talked to kennel and she said neither of them ever peed in the inside room. So that is out! I will see what happens tonight. She is off the couch til we figure this out- Her Blanket has been moved to the floor. I feel bad and am hoping this is a phase of some kind!
