Soooo Two things going on last night that completely baffled me.

1- Raven has decided she hates walks. I got her harness on her took IF collar off of her snapped her leash on- got her in car and we went to the trail. she hopped out of the car planted her butt and would not budge. She whined and wailed like I was torturing her. I tried everything I could think of "uh-uh- I ain't movin mama" is the look I got.... So I picked all 65 lbs of her up and threw her back into the car and drove home. We tried going on a family walk... sat her but on the road and wouldn't move even w/ josh and cisco along for the walk around the neighborhood that we do every day almost.  We go to the trail at least 3X a week minimum. Some times all four of us sometimes just me and her for girl time... (she is getting a little chubby- she needs the extra walks) She went on all her walks the day before. Nothing tramatic happened. I am stumped. I tried at lunch today w/ just her flat collar- she wouldnt even get out of the car....

2- Later that evening we had just came inside from our last potty break before bedtime. I got onto computer and she and cisco were playing tug on the floor. they were in four maybe five minutes and she jumped up on the couch looked me dead in the eye and squatted and peed. I was in shock, I yelled NOOOOOOO! Bad Girl OUTSIDE FOR POTTY! and she promptly got off couch and ran to the door and sat and scratched.... I took them both out- she did not go- he went again. I brought them in- put them in their crates so i could steam clean the couch and her couch blanket.... (thank god for spot bots) I went down 10 minutes later and Cisco had unloaded again in his crate! WTH?!?!?!? Neither of them have had even a dribble since March and April... UGH!!!

Well thats my latest and greatest drama for the week - I know everybody was waiting for a what's next from me?!?!?!?

Maybe they are marking area as theirs, since there are two of them after all. Got to make sure other one knows who's is it. Just a guess.

Tried a quick walk this morning and it was still a no-go! She doesn't want to leave the yard. Maybe she got too close to fence and got shocked again when I wasn't outside with her. Only thing I can think of. They were playing when she jumped up on couch so maybe it was a territorial thing or just an excited girly pee... Who knows.

The walk thing is starting to annoy and aggrevate me. She needs her exercise! Guess I am going to call in good old Mr Garrow and see if he can come over and see what is making her tick (or not tick)

Mandy.. I forgot about your I.F.

Betcha a nickel, that what it was.. why else would she be so relunctant to for a walk..?? although you tried taking her from the car to walk and got the same negative results..this is a puzzler.

I tend to agree w/ Kate---bet she got a little too close to the invisible fence and got tingled....she's at that age where things that startle her can cause her to be scared of them.  Hope you can help her gain her confidence back and get on with having fun on her walks.

I am going to take her to the park tonight and close her in the tennis court w/ her ball and bumi and see if playing over there will get her comfortable enough to walk over to the trail and take a lap or 2.... I'll let  you guys know!
