How much exercise is she getting? I have come across a few real kranky dobies and we all agreed the dog wasn't getting enough hard running. Could also be sick. Chronic illness will also turn your Dobie meaner than usual. Good luck either way...

Yes possibly not enough exercise, which you absolutely have to be the one leading/heeling, or she will not truly be tiring out. Make sure she is calm before you leave the house, or it will be hard to calm her later on! When she bites do you back off, get nervous, or make a high pitch sound? If you do then It will encourage her to keep doing it. If she bites, it is so important to stay as calm as possible, and don't back off, or to her you are submitting, not the other way around. Don't hit her with ANYTHING! This will definitely make her want to defend her self, and make her afraid of you. Contact a professional behaviorist if you are not able to control her.

I sure hope you don't have to get rid of her! As so many dog owners do. You CAN train your dog, anyone can. They just have to be open minded to better ways, committed, dedicated, and consistent:):) Please don't give up, and don't let your beautiful Doberman down!!!:):)

Maybe show her more attention. They're particular about that. They get jealous lol

I don't know how old your girl is, in your avatar she looks young...

If she were mine, I'd have an immediate vet check. Including a thorough thyroid count

Nipping as a pup is normal.. but biting is never acceptable.

Please let us know.

my puppy just went thru a phase like that. we had a trainer come out and we found out he was bored and acting up for attention. we started giving him more structure and exercise and in a little over a week we saw a huge improvement. i know what you are going through. things got so bad we almost had to rehome him. its tough but it gets better. hope this helps

Also your should remember that she is little still. With training attention and mostly patience on your part she'll get over it. Just have her play constantly if possible. Wrestle around with her and when she bites a little to hard tell her no I always told titan no bite. And he never bites me hard. Just play biting.
