Ok This boy is driving me nuts! (lucky he is sooo cute and sweet most of the time!)

When it is a chilly morning or evening... I will do our outside routine. I get him outside and he sniffs around for about 5 seconds goes to his pee spot and squats super low to the ground as if he is peeing... No problem right? Quick and painless right? He goes to the door and scratches to go back inside in all his shivery mama Im cold cuteness and I thinking he is all done and SUCH A GOOD BOY let him back in the house. We go back to the game room and not 2 seconds later he is over by the steps peeing! I say NO! Outside pick him up and plop him back out side - where he will finish w/ a dejected look on his face!

Oh the joys of little boys!

THey sure are smart, aren't they??  Lol.  Love it.

Dakota would pretend to pee for Steph, because Steph gave her a treat after she peed...  So she would walk, squat, let out 1 drop, get a treat...  Walk 3 steps, squat, let out 1 drop...  To the poin tthat Steph called me up worried that there was a problem because Dakota couldn't pee right.  I wish I had a camera to show you the look on her face when she got tricked by a 10 week old pup!  Priceless!

Oh yes they sure are! I thought my Akita was the smartest dog I ever knew. He had nothing on this little one...  I am amazed daily on what he knows and pretends not to know! I can't wait to get him thru obedience school and maybe start doing something like agility w/ him. He is definately smart and obviously needs that big dobie brain worked out as well as his body!

I would have loved to seen her face it was probably the same one I made lol!

How about getting a sweater?  Dakota loves wearing her sweater, she practically jumps right into it.  Then you can buy lame ones that have christmas themes or something lol.  I used to hate those kinds of people, but now think it's cute to see her all dressed up.

Turk does the same thing! They think they're so tricky. =p We just stand outside until he's done his thing, regardless of whether I'm freezing my tushy off or not. He now knows what me pointing to the yard and saying "go tee tee" means so he'll run out, squat for a second, then run back to the door. I just look at him and say "nuh uh, go tee tee". After a few times, he really will go. So stubborn, but he makes me laugh at how anxious he is to get back inside.

He did it again this morning! And that's what I did - no go pee pees and he would run back out squat and run to door... I knew he didn't go A) not enough time and B) there is an 1" of snow on the ground!

He finally did go but it was after 3 or 4 times of the trickery!
