I have noticed that Dobie's eyes start to get a reflective green glaze over them when he starts to get too worked up. When he is playing with paris this seems to coincide with the times that he got serious and started fighting with her. The times he attacked other dogs his eyes had a reflective red sheen to them, then went green before going back to normal. I can teell ahead of time and and prevent problems with paris by looking at the color of his eyes. Is this normal for dogs? Paris hasn't had it happen, but she also doesn't get worked up and crazy like he does.

Hmmm, interesting question.  I know that mine change from grey to bright blue when I get upset.  Kudos to you for noticing on Dobie and averting a situation.  I don't know that I'd be as alert to pick up on something like that when my dog is getting worked up.  What concerns me tho is the fact that Dobie is going around and picking fights with other dogs.  This is something that needs your attention!

Zelda's eyes would look a little greener when she was feeling playful and such. When she's sleepy or chewing on her rawhide, her eyes become more amber. :D
