My 7 week old Pup is not sleeping through the night...I know at this age, this is normal...but she seems to want to sleep during the day every few hours for about an hour or so...Do I let her sleep? Or do I keep her up so she sleeps through the night? What is the best thing to do?

I went through this about a month ago with my pup. I tried to keep mine up, but it really didn't help. Puppies sleep A LOT and you really can't stop them if they want to sleep haha. But take heart, your pup will sleep through the night eventually. Are you crate training it? My puppy loves her crate and will go in there to sleep when she doesn't have to, and never makes a fuss about sleeping there at night. Hope this helped a little, the best advice is to just wait it out, and in the meantime, enjoy your 2:30am escapades :P

Thanks Jessica...

I am crate training her.  She LOVEs her crate and does go in there to sleep even when I don't tell her to go in there...Our only BIG problem is when she wakes up in the middle of the night and has to use the bathroom, we take her out, but then she doesn't want to go back in her crate and cries for awhile.  How do I break that?

Time. It will pass in time as long as you don't give in. When she wakes up and whines to go out, you need to react, but when she does it to get out, you need to not react. It won't take long for her to get the message.
