Well guys get this, Monday I was startled awake at 6am by a screaming kitten I moved as fast as I could to the living room to find that Momma kitty was in the playpen (my husband is supposed to move her to her crate in my art room every morning) but she was there and she was stomping hard on Handel the little boy with the neurological issues, she was racing from one end of the playpen to the other and would just stomp on him, he was screaming and hissing and she was ignoring him. Seems that the outside cat we had to integrate a few years back got to close to the playpen so momma cat pounced at the side to scare her and whether she knew it or not she was stomping on Handel, she stomped so hard on his side and so many times before I got there that he had defecated on himself and it had propelled itself away from his body, then momma had run through the water bowl and then into the litter box with scoopable litter so it stuck to her and then she stomped it into Handels hair. And by running through the water bowl and smacking at the other cat there was water all over the living room, so I couldn't use my crutches, I had to scoot across the floor with a towel to clean the floor and then remove Handel into a carrier, but he was so terrified he was attacking me too; then I had to load momma into a carrier and tote her to the art room; then it took me over an hour to wash a tiny kitten and comb out scoopable litter, he was bleeding but I couldn't tell from where; I wrapped him in a towel and we sat on the sofa and took a nap for 30 minutes then I put him in the playpen and proceeded to go into the bathroom to find drops of blood on the floor, now what? so I followed the blood to the bedroom and there was our old 19 year old persian on the bed with a bloody spot I wiped her butt and it was bright red, so by the time I got that flushed I turned around and she was gone, I followed the blood drops and found her, called my vet and the girl gave me the runaround about how the vet was busy and they would be closing for lunch in an hour, I said "she's bleeding rectally can someone look at her in 5 minutes and see IF she is an emergency!!!?" she said "no" I asked if a vet tech could take a minute and look at her - "no" but they had an appointment at 3pm I yelled to put me down; I then called the vet we checked out a week ago and they said they would take me immediately, got her loaded and carted to the car and was opening the driveway gate which is manual and the pickets started falling off the gate!!!! you've got to be kidding......I get to the vet it turns out we are praying for a serious case of cystitis but the worst case is a bladder tumor cause when he pressed on the bladder to get a sample clots of blood came out instead of urine. :((.
He sent me home with antibiotics to hope it was just cystitis and if she is still bleeding by tomorrow we will pursue the tumor idea. I get home and get her comfy and the furniture covered with light blankets so I know if she is bleeding; go outside with the dogs and Ben goes all to pieces and I see he is barking at the police, I walked to the side of my house just in time to see two officers kneel down and draw their guns and yell "come out with your hands up" at a house directly in line with my driveway where a woman stabbed her boyfriend a few months back and they suspect drug issues, so I headed back to my house as quickly as I could and yelled at the neighbor kids that the police had guns drawn get back in the house. MY GOD what the heck!!! Then miraculously all got quiet, the police didn't arrest anyone; no one got shot; Snaggles is on the mend; Handel survived his bludgeoning; hubby fixed the gate; and I survived the stress.......did anyone else have that kinda day on Monday??? or was I just the lucky one, :(( hahahahahahaha

What an experience, and all in a short time frame.  Yes, I have had days like that.  Then I look at the calendar to see if it is a full moon.  In your case, it's not full moon time, so I'm crossing my fingers for you hoping that the 30th of the month is going to pass more smoothly than Monday.

"But, but, what did you fix for me for dinner?" ( LOL)

Oh my gosh Tal~ Let's hope that boatload is the last of the bad happenings for a good  long time..Geez.. one or two of those we can take, but all at once??? and kitty litter thrown in for good measure.

Just goes to show the strength and character of one of my favorite Forum members..Wish I lived closer, I'd toss you in my car and whisk you away for a spa day. Prayers

Oh Lady Kate - calgon take me away......and hubby knew he, dinner - just loaded me in the car and off we went to eat dinner, then I got sick during the night, good lord.......so today I have been hanging around doing NOTHING nada, nothing, no dishes, no laundry nothing.......everyone is fine today still and I feel better gee must have been something I ate, hahahahaha, good godfrey......and yes cat litter is a mainstay in my disasters, when I broke my pelvis I was breaking up a cat fight and as I picked up the instigator by the knapp of the neck I lost my balance and over backward I went and I swear I hit every piece of furniture in that room!!! and it is a 14x16 room!! and then plop over on my back onto the hardwood floor and I'm laying there thinking "for god's sake, you did it again, you've fallen and injured yourself" so I took a look at my situation and there I lay flat on my back with my long hair splayed all around me in cat litter, yep I had managed to flip the damn box over as I went down. I knew I couldn't call 911 have them break in the house (it was 6am) and find me laying in the floor in cat litter. So I braced the amputation site and hopped out of the room to get my crutches in the other room. Later I found out I hopped around with a broken pelvis, yayayayayaya.... NOT......gosh that hurt. but yes kitty litter and I have a relationship about like me and vacuum cleaners.......one legged people and vacuums don't get along if I say so myself.....

Yes it's been quite the life I must say......at least I haven't broken anything on the body since 1994 except my little toe which I break alot when I - get this - kick my crutch.....yep I can actually kick my own crutch and of course with all my weight on the crutch it doesn't move so snap I break the toes. Kinda hard to walk on one foot with toes broke but you suck it up and go for it.
