Hi everyone.. I know there are some of you wondering about Desiree and how she's doing since she lost her lovely Elly.. They're all beginning to come around a bit and glad they have the other kids to keep them occupied. I posted the wrong Website on a previous thread and would like to correct it so you all can follow Boo and Paris and Romeo on www.RnDdobermans.net
I know she would like to hear from you, but is unable to post on this forum. She sent me an incredibly heartfelt picture of Elly and her daughter Stephanie looking out over Elly's favorite park..It was only hours before she went to sleep for the last time. I asked Rgreen to post it as I have no clue how do things like that.. It will make you want to go hug your kids and never ever let them go!! I cannot look at it with out tears streaming down my cheeks, but it's also a great reminder on how precious their short lives are and how we should never ever take one second for granted...

It is my pleasure. It is a moving photo, for you can see Elly struggling in the back with her rear legs out in a wide stance to brace her upward (a stance I had never seen her in before) and all the while the stoic and prideful Elly holding her head and ears up, displaying her pride in being Doberman.

Rick. thank you.. I can't see right now, I'm afraid I am leaking all over my key board.Your most generous gift to Elly and Desiree has left me beyond words..

Thank you so much for your respect for this lovely lady..How she loved looking out from the garage at the park you see in the background.. she ran in it for over 12 years.. she helped her brothers and sisters learn how to play, how to speak, how to become the great champions they are now.. Elly never had a title, but in my mind she was one of the greatest Dobermans to ever live.. Rest in Peace Sweet Elly.. You will be missed, and never forgotten.

OMG, what a beautiful picture.  I am crying as I write this.  What a sad, sad day.  For our angels, so close to pure love, you just have to believe in the rainbow bridge.  It's the only consolation.
