Anyone besides us watching our Dobes literally bounce off the walls because of this full ( beyond full) moon?

Started with the Gecko assault this morning with Sofia. The short walk to the other house that we're renovating usually takes about 15-20 mins.. this morning it was almost an hour until we reached our destination.. .. all the time she's running amok. . . pulling, twisting, sniffing any and everything.. ( stuck her nose all the way down a gofer hole wondering if anyone was home..) Tonight it's even worse.. in.. out.. back in.. nose bumps..play bows.. tossing toys hither and yon ( what's a hither anyway??)

"come on you guys... look at the moon.. I mean you can read a book out here.. come out with me!!"

Zoomies...up the stairs.. racing down the hall.. back down and GLARING at us with more nose bumps. then throwing herself down on her bed with a great big grunt totally disgusted with us for not going out and playing with her..

Don't tell me we're the only ones.. all we really wanted to do tonight is watch March Madness

And bright and brilliant!
And Leo has turned himself inside-out!!! He went a little too far with the sound level as well! Asked him what he wanted and he gives me a bit of bewildered look and with his loudest and most urgent, demanding voice clearly says, "IT'S OUTSIDE!"

Here in the Northeast the moon is full, but if I hadn't read about,I never would've thought it was any bigger. My dogs are acting no weirder than usual.

It's a big harvest moon here too!  Or was last night I should say.  Hmmm come to think of it Dakota was a little more hyper than usual, we drove 2.5 hours to see Ray's family and she was trying to climb into the front the whole way...entertaining - yes!  Moon related?  Could be!

If you happened to miss it last night, here's what it looked like in Indiana (I love to shoot pics of the moon--it's kind of an obsession LOL)

Paul!!! I've run out of adjectives..

that is an outstanding photo. So very Ansel Adamseque ( it's a word) in it's stark contrast of darks and lights.

Where can I see more of your ART? Have been a fan of photographic art since I was a child..

Here's a twist - MiLady has been only slightly effected by this full moon.  Brinks, on the other hand, has been trying to "climb out of his skin" for the past 2 days!  Usually it's the other way around...  However, both of them were up at 3:30am this morning barking at ????  Didn't settle down until after 5

Between the moon and the pouring rain, this is what is happening to all the stuffies around here.  How long is the moon going to last???  The sun is coming out for a few minutes, we're going for a walk!!

Wolfgirl you're probably right - but hubby has been out of town for about 10 days now, not expected back for another 7-10 days...  I know I should be used to this by now, but I still get jumpy.  And the kids pick up on that so they go to a higher "alert", which makes me jumpier... vicious cycle.  Maybe I should try to find a yoga class or meditation - or there's always Lady Kate's cooking sherry...

When I get too stressed and my own human children feel it, my son takes my fingers and makes the ohmmm "yoga" thing and makes me repeat three times before he lets go!!!

The same thing goes on here too.  Hubby's been out of town alot lately, all dogs on higher alert.  I'll never complain about that!!

Oh, hmmm, I'm thinking Lady Kate is going to in charge of the Margaritas!
