Well I promised to keep you posted on my art projects so here is the latest that I just sold today, the drum belonged to a woman who had seen my drum and another person's that I painted; she asked me to paint it for her for drumming circles......she said "I want a deer in the forest looking back towards me" I asked her if she wanted antlers, was the deer white or brown, she said brown, and would she like sunrays on the deer. She screamed "YES that's it, here take my drum and paint it" so I am glad MY vision was HER vision hahahaha she was delighted and gave me a huge tip, I do mean HUGE......I am always humbled by people's reaction to my work, to me it is an honor to be entrusted with such a special item to manifest their dream painting onto, I mean if you screw up you don't just grab another canvas - you end up buying a very expensive drum......so to be trusted to that degree to me is always an honor.....

And this drum has the most wonderful tone, lovely deep tone.....

the other client had a photo of what she wanted and this is her drum:

can't locate the pics of my drum will post later

I also have 3 people wanting to have their drums painted yayayayay it would be so exciting to see a drumming circle surrounded by drums that I painted for them, to be honored in that way would be a truly wonderous event......so far the drumming circle has 4 drums that I painted.....and I always feel very heart-full when I see how much love these people have for their drums that picture what they felt in their heart, to be able to bring THEIR hearts desire to a literal vision for them is so very fantastic, I do call it a gift from spirit, it is not MY gift it is from a higher source - I step back from painting the drums and I personally am surprised at the intricate work and exactness of what they requested/wanted - it's as if I did not paint it somebody else did so that tells me my hands are guided by a higher being for such a spiritual item, I can then offer to them a true gift from spirit and I could ramble on I get so excited about doing that type of work but I guess I will go throw the chihuahua out in the cold 40mph wind gusts and pray he goes potty so we can go to bed.. hahahahaa he won't be happy about this.....

goodnight all
