Hi Dobie2

I have a Samsung Galaxy.Smart sumpin' sumpin'..

I have found if I send the photos to Facebook.. they're on my wall.. then I can copy and paste to my desktop.. then transfer over to PhotoBucket..which then.. if the moon is in the second house and the stars are all aligned with Mars.. I can get them to GD

Going to try to show one here.. but if you have an easier way.. I would LOVE to know.. thank you in advance..

Hi Lady Kate,

First of all, what are they looking at so intently?

OK, a Samsung phone, that may make life a lot easier. Do you have, or have ready access to, a Windows-based computer? If so, it's entirely possible that you can simply plug the phone into the computer. The Android operating system, on which your Samsung Galaxy phone is based, plays well with the Windows operating system on which your computer is based. At least I hope that's the type of computer you have.

If it is a Windows computer, say Windows 7 for example, you'll need a cable with one end having a plug like your charge cable, and the other end with a USB plug which goes into one of the USB ports on your computer. (It's possible that, if your Android device charger is like mine, you can unplug the cable part from the charger part and use that cable.) If not, you can buy one. They're not expensive. Once connected, the computer should connect to the phone and 'see' it as a 'Media Device'. At this point you're almost home.

I'll stop here because I want to be sure you have a Windows computer. If so, I'll walk you through the process (it's really quite simple) of transferring the photos to the computer once the 2 are connected, step by step, and with pictures. And, YES, this is going to be a LOT easier and it doesn't require the moon to be in the second house, nor in the Age of Aquarius.

Here's a link to the type of cable you'll need, in case you have to buy one:

You get 3 for $7.99

Lady Kate,

I was trying to figure out why you were moving photos to PhotoBucket and then moving them to GD, so I tried a test photo upload and now I know why. The form which pops up asks for a URL (aka Uniform Resource Locator). The procedure bothered me (too complicated), so I went looking for a solution. I found the answer in another thread.

Here's a link to a post which explains how to do a photo upload from your computer directly to GD. No Facebook, no PhotoBucket, just a straight shot from your computer to GD. (Sorry about the O.C.D., just couldn't let it go.)

As always, any questions, just post back.

Thanks again Dobie2.. In answer to your question re: that intent gaze.... Both girls hear their Dad's car about a block away... they stop what ever they're doing and race to the front windows that lead to a large courtyard and wait.... wait... wait.. when the car gets closer...Sofia's nub will wiggle her whole body and Bella's does this hilarious helicopter whirl... ( if you look closely at the photo... you can see a blur)

The door opens.. in walks Dad.. Sofia play bows and dances around.. Bella immediately grabs a ball.. a cushion off the chair.. anything she can present as a welcoming gift.. and says: " Gftft rfftgh"

Dad's arrival is the highlight of their day which I find a little amusing a little insulting a little odd.. I'M the one who combs their hair.. brushes their teeth... gives mani-pedis.. provides three nutritious meals a day.. talks to them,, sings to them at times.. soothes ruffled feelings... .and who gets the most love and attention by simply walking in the door??? Yep.. you got it.. Dad...

Fair enough. Full disclosure, I don't yet have a dog. I joined GD to learn, but now we're searching for a good Doberman breeder, and it isn't easy. I now know what health insurance I want for the pup, I know what kind of diet I want to feed, I'm really looking forward to training, starting with rally. Next, the right vet.

I can, if you'd like to see her, put up photos of my 'Grand-Dogger'. She's my daughters Aussie.

Of course we do.. we love all dogs.. post away....

Thank you so much for doing the research it takes to be a responsible owner of this incredible breed. It's not as easy as some people think  and just "the right one" takes diligence thought and preparation.

Good luck with your search...

I see what you mean about the photo issues. The first photo was there, now it's not. The rectangle is still there though. Strange.
