Well, it's been awhile since I did the cat update so here it is:

Momma kitty destroyed the playpen the kittens were in on several occasions and when there was really nothing left to duct tape we had to throw it away and put the kittens in a huge crate and let them out all day up at night, then momma went into heat for some reason and that meant the kittens instantly got integrated into being loose all the time in the house and momma was crated. Good lord I feel like my house is nothing more than a rescue right now with all the crates everywhere. So yesterday momma kitty was spayed and is recouping in her crate her incision looks great alittle weird since they used glue but no issues.......I decided that rather than go stark raving mad with all the felines I would just reclaim my living room so I stripped it down Monday, moved all the furniture into a "pile" and scrubbed the baseboards, windows, cleaned the museum glass on all the pictures, scrubbed the floor by hand, shifted all the crates into one side of the living room, did the curtains, vacuumed everything that was fabric and wiped everything else down!!!! it was sparkling clean!!! scrubbed everyone's litter pans spotless, along with emptying their crates and breaking them down for a thorough cleanning and reassembling them, washed on sanitary everybody's sleep beds and it only took me 9 hours!!!!! for one room. Anyone want to come over and eat off the floor???? hahahahahaha or the ceiling........I am so much more relaxed now that the crates are in one spot and the furniture has some semblance of a normal living room........it was interesting to watch the kittens - Handel actually chased the vacuum cleaner while Super Callie laid in the chair while I vacuumed around her......they truly trust us to not harm them, great but not so great, they need to have some fear of being stepped on etc. for their own safety but they do not think anything in our home will hurt them.......Handel is constantly under Ben's feet and around him, one day he will get stepped on, I just hope he is bigger when it happens; Tomorrow the babies go in for their last leukemia vaccine and then it's spay/neuter time!!!! and rabies.....

We are signing up for another addition to our house specifically to house the feline family members, it will be an all season room off our kitchen; I will be able to leave the two screen doors we have to exit the house from the laundry room and the kitchen this will prevent the dogs from trying to search out the litterboxes for snacking material; and I will remove the screens at the kitchen bay window which has two small windows on either side of the center pane and a huge granite bay seat base that way I can place a cabinet unit in the new room right at the window to house their food and litter and they can jump on that cabinet and enter the house by way of the bay window - that way if they need to be isolated from the main house for any reason I just close the kitchen windows and the dogs will never see litterboxes again, YIPPPPEEEE, now they can just eat their own poop outside :PPP nothing like adding a room just for the furry family.......I should have it completed by January sometime......

Pepe will be going in for a teeth cleaning soon, and that has me terrified because EVERY time we have someone's teeth cleaned within the next 6 months they die. But he has to have this done it's causing some issues he has gotten very bad teeth in the last year so it is imperative.......he is 14 so I will let you all know so you can send him prayers that day........

Ben is holding his own right now, thank you god, he has not had a flare up in at least two months yippeeee......he is getting some odd growths that will have to be checked out in the next week when he goes in for a nail trim......

The old gal snaggles is doing great, she was in renal failure so she is in a huge crate that is on wheels like they use for rescue days for cats it's two story, she LOVES it cause she is very possessive and this allows her to have HER stuff isolated so she is in a better mood now, when she is running around the house she seems more tolerant of the others and when she wants to nap she goes into her own crate for privacy and is only closed in at night for the kitten's safety - she packs a whallop when she hits someone so best to not allow that......

Fidget is still throwing up cause she refuses to take anything that has any probiotics in it, no goat's milk, no wet food, nothing she thinks I am trying to poison her so she refuses to eat anything I TRY to get her to eat, now if I could just put that stuff on a ribbon or wads of hair she would be good to go.....

the other guys, Malta, Shadowman, Miss Velvet they are doing fine nothing to report. MonkeyFace outside is doing well. He disappeared for a few days because the black bear came back but now he seems to be sleeping in the jeep again or climbing under the car cover and sleeping in the convertible, I will catch him one day and get him neutered whether he likes it or not. hahahahah

Well that's it for now.....I will post current pics of the kittens when I get them uploaded from my phone.

Oh wow you're kept busy. So much respect, I can barely manage 1 dobie when I'm home let alone an entire menagerie AND construction. Hats off to you!!!

So glad all of these animals have found a great home. Wish we could have a cat or two but with the greyhounds loose in the field all day, it would just be too hard to supervise :(

Will be thinking of Pepe when he goes in for his teeth clean and praying all goes well!!

Geez Tali... How do you do it? I think I would go BONKERS!!! I've only got Skyler, Barney the evil kitty, and Shippo, the BIG rat. We foster every now and then, but never that many at a time. lol.

Thanks guys!!!! the support is great and to think all that is/was done on crutches and one leg too :)) hahahaha it's like a side show at the funny farm.....hahahaha

I tell ya' with 8 cats and 2 dogs with one being a really big clumsy rottweiler it is hard to say the least, but you do what you gotta do......I have been trying to find homes for the latest feline additions and there are no takers.....I am also having to work with lindsay on Curiosity cause she doesn't understand the feeding needs apparently and curiosity is only 4lbs. where the runt of the litter SuperCallie is at 5.4 so I texted her to feed that kitten!!!! cause Curiosity was the largest when we had her and there is no way that she should be behind the runt of the litter in weight. So I instructed her on how to increase her weight in a healthy way and gently but she has got to feed her more. Include her in my worry list of things to do and I have 9 cats and 2 dogs, whew!!!!  and momma kitty is showing signs of issues with her incision from the spay trying to find a vet that is open tomorrow, I swear if it's not one thing it's another.....

Pepe goes for the teeth cleaning on Tuesday next week!!!! Please send prayers his way, I am so worried, and until he passes the 6 month timeline afterward I will be worried......

Haven't gotten the financing for the addition for the cats yet but working on it......what a relief that will be, since getting the living room stripped down and reorganized etc. everyone seems to have settled down, so it's not so bad now!!! yayayayayay the kittens are great they are not destructive (so far) and that makes things so much better stress wise.

Will post pics later!!! Thanks again!!!!

Well Pepe got his teeth done and is doing well, but he did fall off the back of the sofa splat onto his face and started bleeding from his mouth he is ok but it was scary......the kitties are doing great, Momma kitty is fine now and is such a good mamma she worries about those babies as if they were still tiny tiny things, Handel is now bigger than she is but if she can't see him in the same room she starts that momma call and goes hunting for him, she definitely rounds them up for nap time and cuddles with them all the time and they ADORE her if the kittens go to bed with my husband and he closes the door she will go and lay outside the door in the hall and when I open the door there the kittens will be on the floor on the other side of the door.  And if one of the other cats takes a potshot at the kittens momma will go flying across the room and attack that cat, it can get pretty loud and scary sometimes I don't know when she will reach the point that she will let the kittens defend themselves but she needs to lighten up cause they are not in any danger now but she will not tolerate even the slightest growl or hiss at them ........and Handel Walker the fluffy male he ADORES the rottweiler and Super Callie Fragilistic loves the chihuahua and neither dog wants a cat for christmas so the look on their faces is priceless when the kittens want to sleep with them......

Pepe is on his heart meds once a day now and seems to be doing ok.....the old cat snaggles who is 19 she is doing fine but is drinking tons of water, she drinks about 20 ounces in two days and pees out as much or more so I know her kidneys are not doing that great but she's a trooper and hanging in there, she was playing with a drink straw tonight and having a great time.....

So glad Pepe is doing well. Hope he didn't get too much of a fright after his fall. Will keep sending good thoughts his way!!!

Our terrier starting drinking loads and having tons of accidents. Turned out she was diabetic but it was easily managed. She survived 3 more good years with twice daily canine insulin shots. I know nothing about cats and I'm sure you've considered this already with regards to Snaggles but just reminded me of how Jazz was behaving prior to being diagnosed.

Glad everyone's well. Mama cat sound slike the best Mom ever!!!!
