Took a ride to the Humane Society to give Caine's last few cans of food that he had left. Also to see if they would pick up some old living room furniture and carpets that I have to get rid of before I move.

I seen some pictures of mistreated dogs that came in. Of course they were dog abuse pictures. It gets me so dam angry. I have been thinking of starting a doberman rescue after I get settled into my new home, it'll be at least a year before that happens. After I put Caine down I started looking for a new puppy to occupy my time as not to think of Caine every minute of the day. I just couldn't believe how many people want a Dobe but have no inclination of what it is to have a Dobe. After reading and seeing all this I decided to do something about it as well as cancer. Before Caine got cancer, I knew it was out there, I just couldn't imagine Caine having it. As I nursed him during his last few days, I decided to create a website to raise awareness and hopefully in the future working with other canine cancer organizations to raise money for research and to help other owners with the cost of this. And now even as I look as these ads that people need to get rid of these Dobes for one reason or another, can't handle them, can't train them, etc. I'm talking about the ads where they will give these dogs to anyone, whether the dog will be mistreated, or abandoned somewhere. So this is a goal I have set is to start and continue these outlets to help these dogs. My one huge downfall is my heart. I know in my mind that I can not help each and every Dobe out there that needs help in one way or another. But my heart says to save them all. I look through these ads usually on those on classified sites. It makes me want to hop into my pickup and save them no matter how far away it is. I know I can't I also know that I will not make a living from this, that's not my reasoning for doing this. My only reward is that I can save a dog from death and or cancer as well as other diseases.

My apologies for making this so long of a post.

On another note, I found this on http://www.petfinder.com/games/mutt-maker/

It's a flash game called mutt maker. Here is my mutt.

I'm sorry about Caine, Phil :( He'll be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge.

And starting a Dobe rescue is a great idea. I've been thinking of starting one when I graduate and situate myself a steady job after college on top of my breeding dream (I swear I'm not going to be one of those irresponsible breeders!).

Good luck with your dream and finding another puppy, Phil!

Thank you all, I guess I just standing up for the ones that can't stand up for themselves(in a way).

They satns and protect us, and the unfortunate ones that are put in the position of don't being able to stand for themselves we must stand tall for them.
