I was at my aunts house and I was crying pretty hard over losing my best friend to a stupid fight, having to leave my boyfriend (he did drugs behind my back...ugh) and my dad had been particularly hard on me that day. So I was at her house alone, sitting on the ground against a wall just crying and tobey came up and put his paws in my lap and licked me and barked and jumped around until I was laughing...Don't you love how dogs just know and they just want you to be happy again? Definitely cheered me up...Here's Tobey by the way, he's a red queensland heeler

Sounds like a rotten day kiddo!!!  I'm glad Tobey was there to cheer you up.

It's not fun but glad you got rid of the bf.  If he's lying about that, what else is he lying about?  Keep your chin up & be strong girl - your future doberpup is counting on you!

Toby's cute, cute, cute.  Sorry about the bad day.  You're right though,  there have so been so many times I don't think I would have gotten out of bed (@ 5am) if it hadn't been for the dogs.Tak care, and remember, guys are a dime a dozen.

Of course it is.. but just think of how 'sucky' things could get if you tried to stick it out with the b.f.

You're a brave and wise girl.. Stay strong! we love you

Tears becoming your own woman, but kissed by the angel dogs. That's just how it is sometimes, but look at Tobey. That's real and true! And won't let you down!

I know, that's what I love about animals, they love you no matter what stupid mistakes you make (besides neglect of course). Yeah, I definitely don't want to be with him anymore, honestly I have plans, kind of, and he doesn't have any plans at all, red flag right there lol. Thanks guys, I love you all too!!

Seiitsu, I've been in your situation, guys like that just aren't worth your time... because you are a beautiful, loving person who deserves better than a guy who is gonna lie to you like that, and then have the audacity to BLAME you for it!!! You're much better off without him.

Love ya!!

P.S. Skye is passing on lots of little kisses and butt wiggles your way!!!

Aw, give Skye an extra long hug for me! Thanks, I know he's no good for me, and I'm actually glad I realized that sooner rather than later.

That sounds like when I broke up with my bf a year ago; he was drinking behind my back. He was the sweetest thing until he cracked like that :C

My dog Shadow made everything alright though. She was the best.

Last year, up until I'd gotten Zelda, I was crying at least 3 times a week because I was so stressed with everything in life, especially with the death of Shadow earlier that year.

Nowadays, if i have a bad day, a nice, long walk with Zelda fixes everything for me <33 I don't know what i'd do without her.

That's how my cat is for me now, she's not nearly as loving as a dog but she's so funny when I get upset, she starts to panic and bring me all of her toys lol

When I get upset... Skye and Barney(my evvviiiiiilll kitty) both come over and sit with me... Barney on the back of the couch next to my head with his on my shoulder and Skye with her head on my lap... getting scritches and crying with me.

Seiitsu - you are really better of without him (the ex bf). I am sorry about your friend, but lifed dumps on us like that from time to time. When you go through a stressful time, when you come out on the other side, you are stronger for it.

The most wonderful thing about our dogs is that they never lie to us (we think they do, but then that's us trying to interpret their action), they almost never cheat on us (even if they do climb in the relative's lap instead of ours) and when we come home they greet us with loving abandon.

And by the way, after you get your Dobie, trust his/her instincts. If you have a friend over, and the Dobie alerts, watch out for them, for they can't be trusted. I have never had mine lead me wrong in almost 30 years of Dobies. My friends whom I can trust have all been welcomed by my Dobies.

Tobey's a real cute BTW.

You will realize if the best friend is really your best friend you will make up- MY BF and I have had those we aren't freinds anymore fights- now in our 30's we are closer and stronger than ever. As for the dope of an ex Boyfriend- Its for the best- been there done that- learn from it and go find yourself a good guy when you are ready- you will find him! Dads yell its what they do sometimes :)

Glad Tobe was there for you! Dogs make everything better always!

XOXO

Yeah, me and the ex don't talk anymore, I've made sure he's as far away from me as possible, me and my friend have worked things out but I still have some trust issues with her. Thanks everyone for the comfort and wonderful advice :)
