This is the American Alsatian, and, yes, I do think that it might be just one more "designer dog", but, as my name suggests, I LOVE wolves and these look soooo WOLFIE!!!! They are soo beautiful, I'm not going to go out and get one, but I just wanna rub their ears. lol.

Huh, her website says she is trying to breed a dire wolf looking dog.  I am reading Game of Thrones (the book to the HBO show) and I didn't even know Dire Wolves were a real thing.  I learn something new every day.

Beautiful dog but all I can think about is the shedding lol.  I have a husky and her shedding is crazy.

One of Evie's friends at the park is an American Alsatian -- here's a video of them playing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQ3gGdQJTMo&feature=youtu.be

He's about a year old in this video. He's very sweet.

They're primarily bred as 'companion' dogs and, boy, he really is one -- very low activity demands. Like, I mean waaaay low. The caregiver tells me that sometimes he needs to almost drag him to the park.

Opposite of a Dobe.

yeah... def wouldn't be able to handle a couch potato dog after Skye. I thought they were interesting and sooooooo pretty, I really hope a future friend has one, lol. That way I still get to rub those ears but never have to go on a jog alone. :D

What a great video of Evie!  I hope one day she and Harley can play together like that.
