I'm pretty sure this is "off-topic chit-chat" so yeah XD

For the first time, I introduced Zelda to my boyfriend. And most of y'all know the saying of "if a Doberman doesn't like who they meet, then don't get yourself involved!" And so, after getting home from watching Brave at the movies (good movie, not thrilling with a huge plotline, but still good btw :D ) I decided that since it was a nice low-90s day out with a great breeze, I took Zelda downstairs where Nathan, my boyfriend, was waiting for me on the couch and Zelda pulled herself over and gave him a big, slobbery kiss XD Went for an hour walk and came back, meeting up with a friend and Zelda's BFF Foxy. Even Foxy, who is extremely wary around men, was super fond of him right off the bat. Some friends decided to show up right afterard so we all went inside and hung out for awhile with Zelda was down there with me and she decided to steal Nathan away again with a bunch of kisses haha. Then she got impatient to see her pack-mates and I had to bring her out to the other dogs.

I think Nathan's a keeper :P

Part deux tomorrow for a grill party at the aformentioned park with the same, plus more, friends with Zelda with pictures (or a picture, i'm not much of a photographer XD) to prove it!

Dogs are generally better judges of character than some humans are....sounds like Zelda gave your bf her stamp of approval.  :)

This Mama is happy to hear this!!

.. I have not been able to meet the new BF myself,.. so I have to trust Zelda's report.. LOL

Paul is right.. Dobermans seem to be one of the best judges of character and if she likes Nathan, so do we!!

hugs all around

Great news!!! I had a friend who did the same thing with her cat, if the cat came into the room and hissed at the new boyfriend then no more dates with that one, but if the cat stayed in the room it was a maybe, but if the cat sat with the boyfriend then it was a long relationship, dogs are the same, what would Zelda have done if she had not liked him??? Always trust your animals to have a non-biased opinion of people.

YAY!  Animals in general are a good judge of character.

I know how you feel. Sean has been in Arkansas for a couple months and, even though she liked him as a puppy, I wasn't sure if she would have changed her opinion (as she has done before)... she didn't and all was good!! I'm happy for you!! And as Katie said, if Zelda approves, so do I!!
