Hey,

I have a 20 week old pup that will not stop wrestling and biting our little dog.  I have tried the squirt bottle, I have tried putting him in his pen for a few minutes and ignore him directly after correcting him,  I correctly very loud and growl at him and he always listens, but........The moment I turn my back he is already stalking her.  It's kinda funny to watch, but he's so big, I need to stop it now.  I've tried rewarding him with a treat when I catch him looking at her like "I want to rough you up" and correct him right before he leaps on her.  I am very persistant with training this pup, it just seems he can't help but want to chase her around.  Don't misunderstand though, when this little five year old pekapoo has had enough she lets him know, but being a pup he just has lots of energy and wants to play.  Also she almost can't relax around him much.  It is cleary play though, because after Axel gets tired they are both laying right beside each other.  Any suggestions?
Axel is doing really well with training.  He comes when called better than any dog I've had.  All other basics are going well, but heel, he just is not interested in.  Sometimes I think I may be confusing him on what I want him to do.  But anyway, I'll try to get a picture of him on here soon.  Thanks for any input.

You're doing thing quite right, however, are you attempting to redirect this energy to something else, like a toy? At his age Doberman puppies are truly awful.  ;) Bad puppies make the best dogs though.

I agree, we like him a lot.  As for the redirection, yes I have tried this too, but not as consistant as the other ways.  I'll try to just do it that way for a while.

Thanks
