I'm sitting here enjoying my morning coffee, little dogs at my feet and on the couch next to me with Eli, reading the forum.  We have my grandparents dog staying with us (she's very spoiled and doesn't realize she's a dog) and she has jumped on the couch quite a few times (a no no for big dogs) and I've had to kick her off.

Steve comes flying in from the backyard, leaps over the coffee table, bounces on the couch, gives me that "HA-HA! I did IT!" look and then leaps off and tears off across the house.

The demon stage is in full swing... lol

Great visual!  All he needs is a Superman cape!

Ask and Ye shall receive! Only $19.95 from Drs. Foster&Smith. Halloween is upon us:

Can you imagine the Diva's reaction to one of those?

Rocky is also not allowed on the furniture but yesterday after getting home from the farm all weekend and playnig non-stop with 2 other dogs and running on 100+ acres he climbed himself right in the chair with the saddest and most tired look on his face...We laughed and promptly helped him off of it.  As cute as it was, he still doesn't get to do it..haha but it was an awesome attempt.

Rocky just wanted to kick back... put his feet up... haha, too cute.

And I think we're going to make Steve a vampire for Halloween but that superman is a close second!

Freyja's thing was to come running inside and jump the back of the couch, landing on the seat.  She seemed so proud that she could do it.  She's almost 2 now and she doesn't do it much anymore.  I'm glad they calm down.

Yesterday at the RV show she refused to use the steps to enter the campers.  Instead she just jumped in the door.  I heard a couple of people marveling at her athleticism.

I bet they make a Batman cape for dogs too.  A Doberman would be a perfect "Batdog".

On a side note, it's amazing how time flies.  When I first starting reading on this site (I read a few months before I signed up and began posting) Freyja was still being house trained, Princess had just come home, and Sofia had just been rescued.  It seems like now these 3 are some of the oldtimers around here.  Soon a new group of those who are now puppies will join the ranks of the oldtimers, and Princess, Sofia, and Freyja will become the geezers.

Rocky does the same with Steps, he rarely walks up them but leaps to the top almost every time and the same with down..  He was flying off the porch like superman all weekend...

Dakota went on the couch once, I was on the computer, thought she was eating.  All of a sudden, I hear non-stop barking, got up to go investigate, and there she is, sitting like a perfect little angel on the couch!  The second she saw me she stopped barking, and knew she was busted lol.

There was one time, on the weekend while I was cleaning I heard absolutely NOTHING, now we all know that quiet doberpups means bad news. So I go to investigate what's going on-as I quietly turn the corner I see Kratos just sprawled on the couch with one of the pillows in between his front paws licking it. He looked up and saw me staring, he gave me that look as if to say,"someone told me to do it?".

There is something about them, I swear.  Even though it was completely naughty I was like "He's so rotten, he's cute!"

Sounds like Dakota wanted to yodel to the neighbors she managed to get the couch to herself.. and Kratos, lol.  If that was Steve I'm sure he'd blame it on the little dogs instigating it.
