My son's birthday is in August, and so that would be Leo's name inspiration.  I don't know who is funnier the 17 year boy or the 15 week old puppy. It's close!

Last night Leo wanted on my bed. He has learned to jump off, but's it's rather high and he's not there for the up move. My son started to put him on the bed, but changed his mind mid-way and left the puppy hanging there with two paws and a head on top of the bed.  Austin wanted to see if Leo would get those back legs under himself and pull his body all the way up, without any more assistance.  When Leo realized his support was gone and he was left hanging there, nails digging into the comforter, to finish the "up" task alone, he turned his head and looked behind himself searching for the partner who left him stranded and clinging to the side of the bed! It was too comical! He had such a funny expression looking over his shoulder :)

Ahhhh.. Poor Leo. dangling like a marooned sailer.. I love the picture in your gallery of him asleep.. what an adorable baby you  have.. I bet soon he'll be vaulting onto your bed and sprawled kitty corner while YOU are the one clinging with your nails just to keep from falling off.

Sweet dreams!!

Yeah, in that last photo labeled "delicious", I guess "finger food" takes on a new meaning. I have been chewed on by many a Dobe puppy.

Thats the one thing I don't want Steve to figure out and the one thing he is sure to figure out sooner or later.  That's the little dog territory and it sure looks like fun to Steve!! He has his paws up and staring at Miles and Harry with the "how did you do it?!" face.

I was just telling my friend this morning that I can't get over how expressionate Steve is compared to the other two dogs.  He's quickly becoming a manipulator of my attention, that's sure.

BTW - love the name Leo, its very magestic.
