Pet Profiles

I was just thinking I never introduced myself. I'm a mama of two boys(one 5 and one 4months) Right now we are dogless but are looking for a new doberman puppy or rescue. Our frist dobe was Dallas Prime unfortunately after 5 years we had to give him up. With help from our vet and the local animal control officer we found him the best forever family. I wish it could have been us. We seem to inherit pets and the OLD MEN were Riely the rottie blue tic mix, Realph the pug, and Buster the chiuahua(SP?). Buster was the last of our old men and he past inMay at the age of 15 years.

Hi,

Do you have any photos to share?

That's heartbreaking if you have to rehome a pet, did the males not get along/  ?

Good luck finding a rescue: it WILL happen!

as for pictures  we have a few still packed up.

no the males all got along great. We had to move into a bigger home so my husband's  dieing grandmother had the care she needed without haveing to move into a nursing home.she past 2 years ago, Buster was her dog.  We signed the lease on a new home and were up front about the dogs and their breeds.  The day we started moveing in the landlord said Dallas  would have to be chained outside at all times! If I had, had the extra money I would have backed out of lease but he had threatened  to sue for the 12 months the lease was for and I did not have the 12,000 siting around.

So we called up our vet and the local animal control officer to help us find a good home for him.  He is really loveable and well trained. Everyone knew him and people would come up touss often saying " I nerver liked dobermans, they scare me but he is one of the nicest dogs I ever met." We had a few people want him but the family that took him came and got to know him with their children and pets before they asked for him.
