Duke is a 9 month old Shepherd, lab, mastiff mix. They've settled into a routine of wrestling and sleeping! Good thing we got a king bed!

Well, it's been just over a month since Duke came to be part of the crew and it's been never a dull moment! Harlow and Duke get along great! There have been no scraps or tustles, just a few warnings if one or the other gets too close to a bone or treat. Of course, there could be 100 toys on the floor but they both want the same one. Harlow's nose was a bit out of joint the first time Duke jumped up on my bed...Her reserved spot, so of course, we had to get a king sized bed to accomodate! My senior dog, Rosie takes it all in stride. She is the most gentile old soul and enjoys hanging out with the young ones but doesn't get involved in the rough housing. Today I was able to take all 3 for a walk, loose leash, not getting pulled all over the place. So it seems that all the training  and a couple of good harnesses have done the trick. It's a lovely, busy, chaotic home and I wouldn't want it any other way.
