Hello All.

I joined gentle doberman a while ago, but could figure out how to load pics. Well, I finally did, so I have a nice gallery and bio of my big boy harley!

What a wonderful story and you have a terrific way with words, but I too, digress ( LOL) Harley is amazing.. I love him too... Your pictures are fantastic, I especially like the one ( untitled) of him chewing his current chu-chu with his legs curled up and out..

Good for you to rescue such a wonderful guy.. You both are lucky to have found each other and we look forward to many more Harley stories..

Hi Dobiemom and welcome!  Harley Horse is 110 lbs. of gorgeous!!!  I loved your story. We got Ginger from the pound and it was the same thing, love at first sight.  She was a puppy, though, and although they are cute, dobie puppies don't look much like the spectacular creatures they grow into. We didn't really know what she was at the time. She had a boxy snout and a pugdy, squat little body. I had to have her. There was a waiting period before she could be released and another party had registered ahead of us to adopt her. She was adoptable on a Thursday afternoon beginning at 4:00 PM and the first person to show up from off of the list got her.  My husband and I were at the pound at 3:45, and as fate would have it, she was ours!  I can totally relate to your experiences since. Pee spots can be cleaned up, furniture can be replaced, but the joy Ginger has brought to our lives has no price on it. I am so happy that you love her so much; it warms the heart.  She will continue to bring you even more joy.  Love the pictures, especially the one next to your screen names with her sweet nose.
