I think zoomies are hilarious.  And I love hearing about the things that make Dobies similar even though they all have different environments.

My new favorite:  "OMG it's so cold outside" zoomies occur after we return to the warm house.   Thankfully, we live in a warm climate because if these occured with wet, snowy feet ... momma might not find them entertaining.

What's your favorite reason for an onset of zoomies?

Bella has to Run and Jump on the bed after Michael has walked her!!!! Its like so exciting to find mommie still alive and there where she left me.

She really doesnt zoomie too much. She did it very noticeably a few weeks ago when we got home from a dinner date, circling the loveseat with her body all hunched up and racing fast.

She zoomies after real bunnies on trail fo' sho'

Axel is in permanent zoomie mode. Now that the snow has fallen he loves to run and kick up as much snow as possible. I always know when its time to let him run beca he gives me that whine. Im sure everyone has heard the Doberman whine. Its ear piercing.

Rosco gets the zoomies at agility, as soon as it is his time to shine he ZOOOOOOMMMS all over the place. All we can do is stand and watch until he runs back and sits beside me as if too say "Did ya see me mom?"

He also loves to zoom around then take a big leap onto the deck and slide for about 6 feet in through the front door. I have learned to keep the door open so he can enjoy the simpler things in life haha

I agree the zoomies are so funny!

Leica gets the zoomies if there's long grass or undergrowth to play in, also around water she loves to paddle and get her feet wet but not swim (though she has fallen in a couple of times getting zoomies on the canal edge!).

I do remember "the puppies" at my mom's they always went racing around the house together on a mission looping it till they flopped over....

and our ridgeback good lord could that dog run we never walked down the walkway till he was done for fear he would bole us over

Piles of leaves to run through with someone chasing you causes the zoomies around here. This is Argo running flat out when his legs are going faster than he can keep up with. It reminds me of when little kids are running faster than they can control their legs.
