I am thinking of getting a Doberman in the spring as a service dog and am leaning towards a female. I would like to know what you all have named your dobies, male or female, I am taking suggestions! :)

I had a female named "Vega," a name I would like to recycle some day. Currently we have a "Rubie," red female. Picking a name is so difficult but I lean toward the two-syllable, distinct names. Good luck!

My last Doberman was named Irma. She was a great dog. I have a 2 week old Dobie on reserve and here are some of the names I'm thinking of:

Olga, Ishka, Nenah, Agatha (Aggie), Maudie, Frieda,Phoebe, Wilma and Sube which is

pronounced Zubay which is German for sweet.

You have some cute names picked out too! Good luck choosing!

Picking fur baby names, LOVE IT.  I would have lists and lists then see and get to know dog and pick something else.

Due to being Trekkies, my husband and I go with Star Trek names.

Male is Tiberius

Female is T'Pol

Alot of people give Dobermans,  Greek God and Goddess names.

Picture is of T-Pol first day home, this is her and Ti about 3 hours after being together.  Tiberius did go with us and help pick out his new playmate, but we were amazed at how fast they bonded. (they are 5 and 2 now)
