Sofia must have been peeking at the threads written by KevinK and how Dakota likes to help with the wood pile.

yesterday Mike and I were trimming the ancient 35 foot fichus tree that manages to catch the golf balls that are aimed at our windows..( we counted 40 balls nestled in the branches)

Sofia rearranged all the branches that we cut  down to her liking..then frolicked in the foliage.. It was so much fun to finally see her play.. She will soon have a huge yard to run in, and she absolutely loves racing from front to back, peeking over the wall to the golf course, dashing to the front gate and telling everyone that she will soon have a new yard suitable for a DoberDiva!!

P.S. There must  be some pretty lousy golfers out here...We need to offer hard hats to anyone including pets who come to visit... ( Mike moved the tee off spots to keep all of a little safer.. shhhhh don't tell the Marshalls!!)

40 golf balls...wow, that's a lot.  Hope you didn't trim that tree to much..haha  might need it for cover.

Maybe she has finally become comfortable enough in her surroundings with you and Mike to finally give in to her inner puppy. It is really a joy to watch them run and play.

Anyone following full moon?  Leo and the other son, running throughout the house tonite, playing Toro, toro, toro!  Probably should check my calendar so I can be prepared?

40 ? in one tree? Ya'll are lucky to be alive!

Maybe the Diva will try the common life and build her own fence and/or moat  Like mom said, "If you want something done right, do it yourself!

"Funny how those little sayings take on a new perspective ever decade or so.

So you guys are moving?  I've been out of the loop a week or so.  Tell us more, unless of course, everyone but me already knows!  Wont be the first time!

It was a little sliver of a moon last night, but Sofia was on her mouse hunting rampage outside again..

She actually squeezes herself under the big BBQ/smoker and paws through the wood box, her little nub going a bazillion miles an hour. she'll race from one end of the yard to the other.. what's with these doberkids>?

Yes.. we're renovating.. the scope of work is too overwhelming to even write about.. so it's one room at a time.. Mike and I were painting some beams to replace some rotted wood on Sunday.. Sofia managed to be underfoot and exactly where we were every minute.. she got painted too I'm afraid..wish I could have given her a brush and let her go to town.. We'd put a tarp down and she'd plop herself right in the middle of it. each time we shooed her away she'd move with a huge huffy sigh.. and I swear I saw an eye roll once or twice...

Sofia gives a great big ooufff ( it's a word) everytime she flops down.. ( She also hums in her sleep) When I pet her ( she LOVES her eyes rubbed) she actually moans.. it gets a little ..ummm, obscene.
