I got in the car the other day and the people sitting in the car next to me were looking kinda oddly at my car. I thought maybe Axel had scared them because he is huge and was in the front seat. The lady just smiled and said no, she was just amazed at what he just did. He unrolls each window and then puts his head out. He has been doing it ever since I got the car. He spends alot of time in the car with me some days and he has to entertain himself. Im glad he would rather do that then chew the upholstery. Hes only able to do this because in some cases Im only in these stores briefly, so I keep the car running.

Oh my I assume you live somewhere really safe, that wouldn't work around here, someone would steal Axel, the car or both, hope doesn't get too hot where you are either......I am sure those people were feeling like they were on candid camera, oh is that dating myself, hahahaha

Wow... What a good boy.. !!

Sofia would be out of there in a flash if a cat or a bike came by...

Aren't you afraid he's going to go for a joy ride? He's one smart teenager you know!! LOL

I think most people (except us) would not THINK about stealing a car with a doberman in it, or approach....

He's watching you so he can learm how to drive! Moarrrr pics!!

Bella doesn't care about bikes or even motorcycles any more, but there is a big dog she tries to get out

SO Smart!  Be careful, though.

I now put my electric windows on 'lock' so that I am the only one that can operate them when DJ is with me.  Once she stepped on the window button in the back seat, stuck her head out, and THEN stepped up on the arm rest where the window button is and the window started to go back up on her neck!

My little rattie Lucy always rolls down the windows when she is riding with me, though.

I will put everyones mind to rest. Axel loves my Jeep or anything that I drive. He loves to put his head out the window (like all dogs do) but he doesnt jump out of the car. He has never shown any interest in other dogs that we may park next to or dogs that may be loose or cats. He is so weird about the car. Maybe he feels safe in the car. He is friendly but he doesnt like to be approached by people if Im not with him. What I mean is, if hes in the car and someone approaches him, he jumps in the back seat. Its like its his own little world. Now when I go somewhere and he knows that he can get out, its a different story. Its all he can do to contain himself till I tell him he can get out.

Im not too concerned with anyone stealing him or my car. I mean maybe its because I live in Northern Michigan in a town thats not too big. Its Cadillac in case anyone wants to google it. The reason Im in the car so much is because I am the newspaper distributor for the Detroit Free Press for Cadillac and the surrounding areas which are even more rural. We just dont have that much crime up here. Nothing really ever happens up here and Im okay with that. Anyway, on Mondays I have to collect from these stores the money for the newspapers. So you see a doberman is a perfect fit for me.

Great job!!! and rotties were used to take the money to the bank alone, however I think anyone could take anything away from Ben hahahaha;

Around here we have pit bulls stolen out of cars, and cars stolen with dogs in them that sort of thing so I was worried....I don't think I would try to steal a pittie from his own car either but it happens, glad to hear your neck of the woods is safe..... sounds like a great morning drive for you both.....

Wow DJ really does keep you on your toes. I never thought of the dog being able to close the window on their own head, now I have a new worry - thanks DJ!!! hahahahahaha
