Well I decided to go out of town for the weekend. I was going to take Axel but had to leave him home due to some last minute plans. On my way home I get a pic and a phone call that he tried to push his backyard pen door open because the wind blew it shut. Normally not a problem but there's some fencing that was pertruding and it tore a hole in his knee. Bad enough to require some anesthetic and sutures. He'll be fine but he's in a cone and that's a giant pain in ass. Plus he's not supposed to run. So wish me luck for the next two weeks.  This is him when my son took him home. He didn't get sick . It's the cones shadow. Poor baby. He's fine now.

They are so pathetic with the cones! My last pooch rested the entire opening of the cone on the floor when I put it on him and left him for the day. Didn't even say goodbye!

Glad to hear he's doing well. Get well soon, Axel!
