Hi guys!

Long time no see.

Just went on vacation and decided to take my Dobermann. Cooper was having her first birthday and I did not want for her to spend it away from me so I decided to taker her with me on a 3 week car vacation across some islands in Europe. It envolves a lot of logistic, but it pays of in the end. Some people still have prejudice, others love them, in the end it was a heart warming experience. I love my bitch more and more and dont regreat a second for picking this breed. She is behaving nicely, very obedient. Thank you all for the advices since I joined this discussion board.

Here is a video of Cooper learning how to swim and dive for the first time!

Hope you like it.

What a cool video! I always wanted to visit Formentera and Ibiza!

Your dog swims very well.  The under water action shows that:)

Our Bella loves to swim also, she learned in a pool. How do you get Cooper into the dinghy? I made a special boating vest for B.

Axel loves the water too. However , he doesn't go any further than his chest. The first time he went swimming as an adult he just jumped and sunk like a rock. My lab grabbed him by the neck and got him before I could . All ended well but now he just wades. Love the video .

Hi principessa bel...,

For cooper to get back, all it takes is to comand her to Hop, she puts her front legs um on the edge and then I pull her inside. But whe she learn how to, she was allways jumping and diving...they are too smart for ther own sake! lol

Hi tess,

Cooper did the same thing. It just takes them a little while to gain confidance. I began by taking her to the beach so she would get used to the sound of the waves. Then played with her near the water. Then called her when I was inside and step by step she began swiming trying to reach me. Works faster with no waves :)

Yours will come around! Swiming to them it´s a natural, you will see.

Best!
