Well let's try to do this again here's the rest of my post: I'm a really proud momma. And we survived the dobershark days and the doberteen days!!! It's been an epic 10 months to say the least but I wouldn't have it any other way. Yes it was frustrating at times but well worth the experience of raising my first doberman puppy! It was a Godsend. Duke is my second doberman first 2 months old puppy to raise. I had rescued my beloved Princesse at 8 months old and it was like night and day. Princesse passed last October at age 12. She was an angel compared to my boy. Yes we went through the nipping the pinching and the bitting but we survived! I found my self wearing the same 3 blouses and pair of Jean's after Duke damaged them with the jumping on me as a young pup and grabbing my blouse and of course tearing them slightly. So after realizing what he was doing and I started correcting him I decided not to risk anymore clothing and kept washing and wearing the same blouses for the next 3 months hahaha...I did not suffer any bites and scars on my arms but I can't say the same for my husband! His arms were covered at times with bloody cuts and scabs. But I must admit it wasn't really a bite per say but more getting mouthed by the razor sharp baby teeth! Scratching the skin. I'm proud of my boy and he's super obedient and I'll pat myself on the back when saying I did all the training by myself. A month ago a couple of behavioral issues occurred but with the help of super knowledgeable feedback from this forum we have both issues resolved in that short period of time...And don't worry about the cake , he will only get a couple of bites to celebrate and not the whole piece of course;) as for his present I came across this toy suggestion by reading on the older posts on this forum and thank you to the original poster. Thank you all for celebrating this wonderful day with us and seeking suggestions on how to resize pictures as mine are way to big...Thanks a million for all the help that I have already received from all of you great members in the short period of time of us joining. I will post the pictures this afternoon.

Happy Birthday to Duke! :)

Wishing him lots of longevity so you get to share many, many more with him in the future!

(I usually resize before uploading to imgur. Easier to resize with my browser than their software)

Agree with CRDobe...

THAT is a fine looking Doberman you have there. Appears well behaved too!

Personally very fond of that ear style and have had the last couple pairs of girls done that way. Great pictures!

Just to add: Cropped ears generally stay a lot more healthy due to them getting more air flow. My floppy eared rescue mutt came home with both ears infected as all get out. Was a mess getting them cleaned up and back healthy again. :(

Since I got into raising pairs I have never had any sort of Doberman ear issues. A single Doberman can't reach a tongue inside their own ear but pairs can and often will clean each others ears. Less work for me! LOL! :)

Here lately have noticed Dobie girls occasionally cleaning rescue dogs ears for her. She freaking LOVES getting attention like that from them! (and it saves me the work) :)

Good morning Dobermanguy, awwww thank you so much guys! Yes he is well behaved, we're still tweaking him which is an ongoing thing for all dogs but overall we got great success! Oh I know I too also I'm a great fan of his ears:) we asked Dr. Browning for the medium crop with curve. Oh great yes the girls do looks amazing as well.

Lol that's funny! I never knew that they do that!! That's great, yes absolutely less work for you...well me neither I never had a problem with Princesse's ears but Duke's infection cleared up really fast I think she said it was a minor one and gave me the name of a medicine that I can order on Amazon if it would to occur again so there would be no need to take him in again for that reason anyway...
