What a sweet face she has. Fierce?? Awww.. darling girl!

What in the world is around that babies' neck?? I've seen E-collars, and I've seen lampshades, and all the other things they put around them to protect the new surgery.. but I'm not sure I've ever seen anything quite that big.

Good luck with her new ears.. so far things look good..

Oh my goodness, isn't she sweet?  She got on her forelorn face for sure!  Kisses to her.

@Kate, that is a standard "E" collar. the E stands for Elizabethian Collar. It looks a little big, but notice that the top of her ears almost reach the top of the collar.

It is our vet's mini-version of an E-collar.  Something he recently started to use rather than taping the cones/cup between the ears as he did in the past.  Works well to prevent her from getting to the ears at all but it is cumbersome and she hates it.  Given that the vet doesn't completely cover the stiches to allow a faster healing process it is essential she has zero access to the ears.  Thus far we are quite pleased with the healing process.

She has got the sweetest face!!!  I used to have a black & rust doberman named Sasha...we called her Chachi most of the time, though.  :)
