So I've been on a search for supplements for Tayoh to help his coat, and his general health. Right now I'm giving him biotin (as per my veterinarian's recommendation). I plan on starting him on salmon oil/ fish oil soon, also. In the meantime, I was wondering if anyone had ever given "Coenzyme B-Complex Caps." The particular kind I'm looking at are the Country Life brand. (I have a bottle in my cabinet, though I haven't opened it). Here's the back of the bottle.

I also was wondering if I should be giving him vitamins/supplements for his hips & joints. He doesn't have any problems, nor does his bloodline have a problem.. I'm merely curious.

If anyone has any other suggestions as far as supplements and Tayoh's health goes, feel free to guide~

I also have RxOmega-3 Factors EPA 400mg/ DHA 200mg.

I find it amazing that I have bought so much stuff (for my own health) and never use it. lol.

Why? 8000+ percent of the daily need????  Feed a quality food, fish oil or olive oil for the coat if needed and stop overthinking this.  Sorry to be snarky.

I'm thinking along the same lines as Happydance---I've never been one to give my dogs more than they really NEED.  A really GOOD dog food should supply all the necessary vitamins and minerals and other nutrients...fish oil (or even canola oil in small amounts on the kibble) is good for dry skin or to help with a shiny coat, but I see no reason to over do it in the supplement area at all.
