UPDATE:

Well after much consideration and talking w / my trainer, his wife, my vet, etc. We are having Raven spayed tomorrow at the clinic. They are affiliated w/ AVets which is the top emergency animal hospital in the area (same vets work at both places) My vet said when people can't afford her prices - she does refer them there. AND I can do all my after care at my vets office. Which is a bonus!
Follow up visit is free at the clinic but I would have to take another 1/2 day of work off just to get her down there- My vet will charge me for the office visit as a recheck which is only 18$ and suture removal which I am not sure of cost of that- Even with the extra cost of having to pay for that it is still about 200$ cheaper than where my vet got me to with her estimate... (which after all we discuseed we got it 325$) If Raven is indeed over 40lbs which my scale says it will be 118$ + my vets costs. If she is under 40lbs it will be around 85$ plus vet costs....

I will be getting Cisco Neutered soon as well and will be doing that at my vets office- It is only a little bit more expensive there, and I won't have to take a day off of work for it.

I will let you guys know how she is tomorrow evening- Fingers crossed and good dobervibes to my baby girl!

Glad to hear you were able to work everything out for a reasonable price.  I hope everything goes well tomorrow!  Good luck with keeping her quiet for the 2 weeks after too lol!

Have you checked at you local SPCAa or at spay/neuter clinics? In Houston you can go to either of these for under $100 (they usually price by weight here). We took our girl to the spay/neuter clinic here and it was about $75 and another $10 for pain medication.

Wow, I don't envy you guys at all, we went to a Spay/Neuter clinic and for Kratos at 6 months, it was only 90 dollars. However, ear crops around here are ridiculously expensive.

Cisco's would have been under 100$ maybe a little over at the clinic... I couldn't take another day off to take him/pick him up as i did with raven. I took him to a local vet and it was 190$ a little more than I wanted to spend (that was with the avit chip as well) but he went into the next weight bracket before I could get him done....
