Hey, all!

Rubie is getting too big for us to hold while doing her nails. I was considering getting a grooming table. Since it'll be used for just nails, I was wondering if someone had a sturdy but cost effective suggestion; although at $10-$20 a pop to take her somewhere, it'll pay for itself pretty quick. Amazon has about 1800 options so a wee bit overwhelming!

Hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th!!

Beach Bum.  She sure is pretty.

I just do my two's nails outside or in the kitchen in winter.  Tiberius, after 5 years of my doing this, will hold his front paws up for me, but normally lays down for the back.  Little T'Pol at 2 still does not like it much, but the last clip she did just lay there and let me do it. Normally my husband would have to hold her while she was laying down.

I would not worry about a table, but I have to ask how do you get the dobie up on the table?

She's learning that "up" means to jump on to what I'm pointing at. Or pick her up!!

I've never nicked her but she's not a fan of the (dremmel) vibrations I think so she can get a little fussy/kicky when we do them.

Mine just lay down on the ground for me while I do their nails, and Ares typically falls asleep lol

Hopefully she can get to that point!

If you do decide to get a grooming table, make sure it has an adjustable height - you will most likely also need to buy an adjustable arm and grooming loop to keep your dog up there.

I actually do have a grooming table and rarely use it.... most use it gets is when I have a litter of puppies I practice stacking them on the table and pictures are taken with them stacked on the table. Right now my husband is using it to hold his ham radio.... I need to get him his own table!!
