Just curious how the dremeling has been going for those who have wanted to try it.  Also, want to know what you all might want to try next!! :)

Sure is quiet in Upstate New York!! Ginger's Mommy.. come out come out where ever you are!!

Tomorrow morning is surprise the dobie day with dremel in hand . Jewel doesn't like it but will tolerate the indignity of the whole ordeal for treats .

Oh the power of the stomach .

Jewel and Steve should take to the hills.. because Sunday is grooming day here in our house.  It's bath, ears and nails day!  Then I'll let Steve vaccuum the house while the other two supervise.

She has them put away somewhere safe.

No dremel yet.  Still haven't moved beyond the idea stage.  I did think, though, that a kong filled with peanut butter may help take her mind off of the task. Will write as soon as I tackle the situation.

We were busy running around and skipped it last weekend but Rocky is due.  He does fine, just lays there and looks slightly bored and annoyed until your done, then off and about his day he goes.

Yeah he's a very tolerant dog, you can do about anything to him and he just takes it fine, but then again we've been doing all that stuff since he was 12 weeks old so he should be used to it by now.

I think the thing people are most amazed at is when I say I brush his teeth.  Apparently not many people do that...haha.  I know many on here do but outside of this site, to most dog owners, they look at me like I'm almost crazy.

That's funny.. Sofia like to have her teeth brushed too.. she'll lean into the brush while I scrub away. What kind of paste do you use? I just use plain water. There's no such thing as doberpaste  here in Baja

I haven't done it for a while. I got out of the daily habit.. thanks for the reminder.

It's Pet Dental brand sold at Petco - nothing special but I do notice his breath is never bad when I'm diligent about doing it daily.  I can actually tell when I miss a day or two....

Skye doesn't like her teeth brushed... or she likes it too much. lol  I brush hers every 3-4 days because, when I'm done, she runs around the house like the four horsemen of the apocalypse are after her! It's the same with baths. I've only had to do it once, but once is enough! The daily rubbing with baby wipes seems to be working though.

Ziva LOVES having her teeth brushed---I say "lets brush your puppy teeth" and she usually will beat me to the bathroom door and wait till I get her toothbrush.  We do this a couple times a week, but probably should do it more often.

rocky doesn't mind it either, he will sit right down and wait.  I do his top teeth first then get more toothpaste and do the bottom.  In between he licks every drop off his lips and mouth. I think he likes the taste of it.
