Hello all! So not this weekend, but next, we will be taking the girls with us to the beach. We will be staying in a beach house, and covered areas most of the time. Since our pit bull LOVES water, we decided we will take the girls to the actual water once. We want to bring queen margaery too, but we don't want her sensitive skin to become dammaged by the sun.

Does any one have any ideas on doggie sunscreen? I saw some, but didn't see enough reviews to make me feel confident about the products. Worst case senario we will keep the trip to the water short, bring an unbrella to sheild her, or leave her kenneled in the beach house.

Most people I know that have used sunscreen on their dogs just use a good human one for sensitive skin (no scents, etc...)

You might also want to consider "doggles" (dog sunglasses)as the bright sun, water and sun might literally blind an albino.

She could wear a t-shirt?

I would also be sure to rig up a shady spot for her.  Like a huge beach towel draped over two chairs.

I like the t-shirt idea! Also if she's swimming, dry her right away so the water doesn't attract more sun. She is so pretty!!

I've used regular sun screen on Sofia...also a tee shirt tied in the back..( she thinks she's a cheerleader..)

Sofia is not albino.. but fawn.. and her fur is quite thin especially above her nose.

Q.M. is so lovely.. hope you'll post some pictures of the beach babies..
