Zeus is nine weeks and i still haven't gotten his ear cropped. i'hd like to ask. When is it too late to get his ear cropped? He adopted him just over a week ago and i don't want to put an adittional stress on him by getting his ear cropped as soon as i got him. i'd love to give him a bit more time to settle in. Thank you guys!!

Usually ear cropping is done between the ages of 9 weeks - 12 weeks old, 12 weeks being the absolute maximum age most vets will do it.  My vet likes to shoot for around 10 weeks of age if possible.

Keep in mind it is extremely stressful with the stitches in and a lot of work with the after care. I am going through the after care process right now and my nerves are shot over making sure nothing tears or gets infected!!!! He's my precious puppy and I have been going through lengths making sure he won't harm himself or his ears! If you are going to crop be aware it is a lot of work. No one told me how much work it is so Im learning as I go.

Great timing then. He's gion to the 10 weeks this week. I'm sure you are a good parent, i have seen your gallery and Ares seems to be having a time of his life. I'm sure your Ares and my Zeus will get along very well since they are both names after Titans. Good work!
