what is the likely hood that a litter from a red parent and a black parent will produce only black pups?

High if the black parent doesn't carry the red gene

Really!

even though you have a whole Red dad huh? ok, well I didn't do well in college biology but maybe I was thinking about how I've never seen an all white baby come from from a mixed race couple of humans. ahh but in that case it's skin not hair.

Could have been a fluke lol I'm sure someone on here will chime in with more information for you :)

If the black parent only carries the black gene with no dilution: BBDD not BbDD or BbDd, then they can only produce black no matter what color the other parent is. Simple genetics in Dobermans. Black is a dominant color, red is recessive..... blue and fawns are dilutions.
