Hello everyone, it's been a long time since I was last on here. My pup Titan is doing wonderful and my wife and I are looking to get him a sister in the spring. We are currently living in Minnesota and prefer a breeder within MN/WI/IA/ND/SD area.

I'm planning on reaching out to each breeder, that look good to me, within the 5 states that are listed on the DPCA breeder referral. I've already ruled out breeders in MN, IA, and SD which doesn't have any.

Currently, the breeders that look best to me are: Jaimand (https://www.jaimand.com), DeMor (https://www.demordobermans.com), and A-list (http://www.alistkennels.net). I recognize my eye is untrained when looking at the websites compared to users here who are breeders such as Fitzmar and Glengate. I would appriciate any insight anyone has on any of these breeders, or recommendations within 500 miles of Minneapolis.

I'm looking for a Doberman bred for confirmation and companion (as opposed to agility/schutzhund).

Thank you all in advance for your time and insight!

Check out Diesel Dobermans, they are located in Hague, ND.  Here is a link to their Facebook page: https://m.facebook.com/DieselDobermans/ I'm from NE North Dakota and I'm driving down on the 16th of this month to pick up my first Doberman puppy! My expirence with them thus far has been great! Ingrid is her name and she has been really good about keeping me updated, and is really helpful in answering my questions and what not.  Her Facebook page is pretty active so I'd check it out!

I know nothing about Diesel Dobermans but their website and facebook page have zero information about their dogs on pedigree, health testing or titles.

I think any of those breeders would be excellent. The only one I don't know very well is A-List, but I know of them.

Thanks Fitzmar, I have been in contact with all of them, and sent them all my own small questionnaire. They all answered how I would expect a responsible, experienced breeder to respond, followed by sending me their questionnaire.

Jhurt94, I looked at Diesel's Facebook page. I did not see them originally because I was only looking at DPCA breeders as a starting point. The Diesel FB page give's nearly no information other than pictures, yet make claims such as 'champion bloodlines' without providing any data.

I suggest you read the breeder section of this website prior to getting your next Doberman if you get another. I wish you the best for you and your new pup.
