Are males more aggressive than females?

The key to this question is the definition of ‘aggressive.’ Like a child trying to impress its parents, the Doberman meets all his tasks with high aggression, whether it’s playing a game, competing in the show ring, or protecting his family.

The main difference between the sexes of the Doberman, temperament wise, is males are more independent and females are clingier. Aggression problems will occur in either sex if not properly bred, trained, and socialized.
