Website Agreement

By participating in this forum I acknowledge that I have read and agree to be bound by the terms of this Website Agreement:

I WILL NOT create more than one account.

I WILL NOT allow anyone other than myself (the member) to use my account.

I WILL NOT create a username or use an avatar that contains language or images deemed to be obscene, profane, defamatory, discriminatory, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, threatening, inaccurate, knowingly false, invasive of a person's privacy, promoting or advocating illegal activities, or otherwise in violation of any law.

I WILL NOT post information or material which is obscene, profane, sexually oriented, defamatory, discriminatory, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, threatening, inaccurate, knowingly false, invasive of a person's privacy, promotes or advocates illegal activities, or otherwise in violation of any law.

I WILL NOT make negative or "bashing" comments about another member of this or any other websites, about any program/website/forum or the people who run them. is a positive forum and MEMBERS WILL do their best to participate in a positive manner in the sharing of ideas and experiences as they relate to this forum and other members.

I WILL NOT stalk or follow another member from post to post or forum to forum.

I WILL NOT post anything for anyone other than myself for any reason whatsoever unless specifically authorized by a moderator/administrator.

I WILL NOT bump a thread intentionally to move it to the top unless specifically allowed in the rules of that thread.



I WILL NOT post any promotional / referral links.

I WILL NOT make posts that promote or refer to a promotional / referral link contained in my signature or to other threads that are advertising in nature.

I WILL NOT make posts asking others to contact mel to request more information regarding promotional / referral links or items.

I understand that I may send promotional / referral links to other members of the forum ONLY if the other member has specifically requested it.

I understand that I may advertise in my signature through a plain text link or a graphic ad provided the signature conforms to the following requirements:

  • Up to six (6) total lines of text/graphics can be used in the signature.
  • A line of text equals that as viewed on a screen resolution of 1024x768.
  • Size tags up to but not greater than size=8 can only be used on one (1) line.
  • Blank lines are counted as a line and are included in the total line count.
  • Graphics may be used on no more than three (3) of the six (6) lines.
  • A single graphic may not exceed the size of 470 pixels wide x 60 pixels high and 30k in file size.
  • The total of all graphics combined in a signature may not exceed the combined size of 470 pixels wide x 90 pixels high and 40k in total file size.
  • A maximum of five (5) smilies that are provided and hosted by The Chatter Box may be inserted in your signature and will not be counted as graphics. All other smilies will considered as graphics and will be included in your graphics total.
  • Only standard image files such as .jpg, .gif, .png, and .tif can be used as graphics. Flash images (.swf, etc) are not allowed.
  • Total signature length including URLs and tags WILL NOT exceed 750 characters.

MEMBERS avatars will not exceed 150 x 150 pixels and 40kb in file size.

MEMBERS personal photos in their profile will not exceed 400 x 400 pixels and 80kb in file size.

Members who violate the 'Website Agreement' in any way may or may not receive notice before their account is deactivated.

Questions, comments, or concerns about a member's behavior should be reported immediately to a moderator/administrator.

All private communications between moderators/administrators and the members via email or Private Message or Instant Messenger are CONFIDENTIAL and shall remain confidential by both parties. Members shall not share private communications or post them in a public place.

Members who publicly question or challenge a moderator/administrator's decision in the forum, edit or remove a moderator/administrator's notes in an edited post may be suspended without warning.

Abuse of this forum, its moderators/administrators, or its members will not be tolerated.

All members who join agree to receive periodic - but seldom - email updates and announcements from the Admin of this website.
