Jewel is a retired mommy-dog. She is of German breeding which is apparent in her temperament and small size. Of all our dogs, she is the most submissive - around people pack members. But in the back yard she's at the top of the hierarchy.

Jewel is hard on her puppies. They get spankings for doing anything wrong. She's a great mother, but she has no issues with an 'empty nest.'
