Some Puppy Questions

So Khan is now a little over 3 months and is about 36lbs.

We've started training him with a trainer and that's going great!  Super smart learns super fast.

Do your puppies or have your puppies always want your attention?  I put toys out for him and then sit at the table in his area to try to get some things done on my laptop and he plays by himself.  He'll play alone for a bit and then try to destroy his bed ...  Which he'll stop after many tries...  He's so hard headed.  As he gets older will I constantly have to be on him like this?  And we've been pretty consistent on that one.

I've also started leaving him in the crate for longer periods in case I start working soon. So now I do max 4 hours and he does pretty well.

He can go a whole night in his crate but he'll start whining every morning to let him out.  At one point will we be able to sleep in a bit again?  I know my brothers dog sleeps in with him.  Will Khan ever sleep more as he grows older?

Lol I wouldn't count on sleeping in for awhile lol were up every morning at 7 and we don't crate him anymore at night but we're still up at the same time but he will go back to bed after I let him out. Lol to answer your other question they are the Velcro dog and want your attention hahha I think we call can agree that they are attention demanding but personally I love it. My guy likes to put his toys on me and wait for me to toss it. He's constantly glued to my hip unless he's napping :)

Yes 7am seems to be his time for whimpering to be let out.  We'll feed him play for a bit and he'll nap again.

How often during the day does your dog nap?  I don't mind him sticking to me its' what he does when he sticks to me.  He hasn't brought me any toys yet.  He comes by and starts licking and mouthing my toes...  :(

Hahahaha dobershark hahaha ummmm I have to make him take naps here and there or he get cranky. He take about two naps a day and gets plenty of exercise. His tells when he needs a nap is constant wandering or being a butthead. My boy is ten months old so your pup will probably need to take more then two a day :) I do a lot of mental and physical work with my boy lol a tired dobe is a good dobe:) we flirt pole every night that's his favorite. But yours is to young for any crazy exercise so just puppy play till he decides he tired lol

I thought if I left the crate open he's nap on his own but he doesn't... He just stays up all the time.  I often just put him away.  He will sometimes nap on his pillow bed in the kitchen but he's rarely ever SUPER tired... This being my first Doberman is that normal? I had a puppy before that would need so much more sleep...

This one doesn't seem to know he's tired...

Lol he probably is tired but like little kids will refuse to sleep. So you can put him down for nap a few times a day :) you'll figure out when he's so tired he doesn't want to sleep they all have a tell lol
