stars
HOw does one achieve 5 stars next to his name instead of one?
Is there a scale? 20 posts = 2 stars; 50 posts = 3 stars; etc?
2 20
3 100
4 250
5 500
I'm thinking of changing them to Doberman paws. What do you think?
Well, it would be cuter than the often-used star, but would someone want to be known as a "5-paw poster" more than a "5-star"?
There is also the Karma and Posts: xxx to show how much the member has been writing. Both offer a sign of credibility. Once our breeder directory is up, people will be able to see how many post and Karma that breeder has and read through their posts. A great way to research a breeder and for breeders to promote themselves.
I have some other ideas I'm throwing around for loyal senior members. One is forum money. This would be in a phase after I get the core systems up for building the directories. Our main goal we need to keep in mind is getting ALL the good breeders listed HERE.
how would forum money work?
When you write posts, answering questions or asking them, you would get so many forum dollars. You could then us them, once I have the systems up, to pay for a breeder profile (or stud service, training, puppy sitting, etc) and ads - instead of actual money.
Seems like too much trouble. Maybe it would work once the site got more popular and there was a strong desire to be a part of the site.

Have lots of conversations. The more posts the more stars.
