SearchPlease keep my father in law in your thoughts this week
as I posted previously, my father in law was diagnosed with cancer, initially they thought it was affecting 3 organs, kidney, liver and lung. The diagnosis has changed to being kidney and lung cancers, the spot on his liver was a blood spot not cancer thankfully, but it's still bad.
He is going on Wednesday to have his kidney removed, then in February once he's recovered from the kidney surgery, he'll be going in to have his lung partially removed.
Needless to say, we are all a nervous wreck leading up to these surgeries so if you can keep him in your thoughts I'd appreciate it.

So sorry to hear this. Hope everything goes well for him and he recovers quickly and as easy as possible from the surgerys. Good luck to him in his battle ahead.

Thank you, FIL is set to be at the hospital for 7:30 tomorrow morning, surgery should be around 9:30 and will last 5 hours, recovery for 2 hours and then he'll be in ICU for 2-3 days depending on how he recovers from the surgery and then another 3-4 days in the surgical ward to keep an eye on his vitals, fluid output and general recovery.
It's going to be a long week!

Awww.. so sorry you're going through this.. I know how horrible it can be not knowing what to expect, hoping for the best, but fearing the worst.. It's such a painful process and having been through it I can totally understand your anxiety.
