Sometimes the server can be slow. Did the page to fully run, and the next one load?

What I do on any forum, before I hit the save/post button, is Ctrl+A Ctrl+C. In other words, I copy the reply to my clip board. That way, if something funny happens, I don't lose the typing.

Kevin, I used to have the same problem.. I realized I was not waiting long enough to have the post fully appear after I hit "save". Now I make sure it's on the thread.. re-read it and usually find myself editing something I've inadvertently written; either coz I'm so blown away by a previous post and get a little snarky.. ( yea.. me..) or there's a glaring typo that makes the whole thing undecipherable.(I once edited four times til I cooled off enough to be rational.. but that's another story. LOL)

Take your time after you write.. hit 'save'..take yet more time until  it appears.. then go on..

Slow loads are a problem I plan to address. I'll be getting us on a better server in the next few months, and I have a few other improvements at the top of my list as well.
