Rex
Hello Dobe-lovers:
Thanks to all for the tips about the dandruff. I have added eggs and fish oil to his diet and it's much better! Wanted to upate everyone on my boy Rex, he is back to his loving, trusting self! He hates to get wet and usually stays clear of water, but came up on the pool deck when I called him! Now that takes trust on his part. I could not be happier. Maybe one day he will join me for a swim, when he is ready to do so. He is also getting more gutsy and protective of his house and grounds!
JRT Cletus watch out! LOL! Anyway, thanks a bunch for listening to me whine, so glad I have you guys for solid advice.

Great news.. thank you so much for keeping us all updated.. We love our kids and we love everyone else's too.
Petra~ glad to hear the dandruff flakes are flaking off! And Rex braving up to that water. Im enjoying all the water stories so much. Looks like we are in a heat wave now. Already hitting 100+ here in Texas. My boy doesn't seem to appreciate water sports either. I sure hope we can get him a little interested to help beat this heat. Picked up one of the little kiddy plastic pools to try tomorrow. Come on Rex. Water's fun!
Zelda is the same way with water! I have to pick her up, hand her to my friend adriana who wades a few feet away from the stairs and has her swim to me who's on the stairs. Yeah, she's cooled off, but she resents us for it LMAO.
Aren't they adorable when they are pissed about good parenting!
Laith hates water. He wont even go through a sprinkler. Lame!
I love your Dobies name! HAHA Great minds think alike ;)
I haven't ever met another Dobie with that name!

Glad to hear that has helped you. If the dandruff persists, you might want to consider taking Rex in and having a vet look at him. Steve had dandruff randomly for a few months, I treated with food and baths, then finally took him in. He had a skin infection and has been on antibiotics for it.
