SearchPrivate Message ?
I received a message from someone yesterday, and had no idea until I logged into my email. Is that how it works, or is there somewhere on the site that tells you that you have a message? If so, I couldn't find it.

Have to admit I'm working on my computer a LOT during the day, so I'm able to access my email account often. LOVE it when I get PM's from all of you.. 
Technically, there is no Personal Message system. The contact form simply sends a regular email. And the reason for the form is spam. The form has certain mechanisms that keep spam bots out and the form its self hides your email. If email addresses were just out in the open - right away they would get gobbled up by spam bots... That's why you should never post your email.
If you guys think a Personal Message system would be handy, I can incorporate it into the next stage in our site.
It seems to be working just fine.. anyone who really wants to contact someone can do so easily and then if the receiver wishes to reply and send their address... it's up to them
yea, I think it's fine, I was just wondering if I was missing where I could read the messages.
I'm glad I found this thread....found it by accident, actually, while I was searching for something else...but it answered my question of how do I send a message to someone here, and where does it go? Guess I need to check my email more often

Please meet GingerHi KevinK, I think that is how it works. I don't know I have a pm until I check my email, so I've gotten in the habit of checking it once or twice a day.
