SearchHelp!!! New website looks great, but....
I don't seem to be able to see any new postings since the site went live. Example: In "General" admin started a new thread about this new site. Supposedly there are 4 new posts, but I can only get the original from Admin & 1 reply from Q. Same thing on all other threads & forums...
What am I doing wrong?

Well, let's see if I can add anything to let you know what's going on.
The "front" page showing the forums, new threads, who posted last... That one isn't updating. The "general" forum is shown as original post by Admin 23 hrs ago, last reply from Q Tip 1 hr 33 min ago. It does show 4 new replies, but I can't get to them.
This forum's last post is showing as "grrrrrowl" from "^,^" but when I enter the forum I can see this thread...
The rest of the forums/threads aren't showing any posts after 6/17 so I don't know how to check any further. Something strange... I can see Lady Kate's post here, & Rgreen's posts on Kratos' ears & Q Tips post on your thread after the switch, but haven't found one from anyone else. Either no one else has posted yet (it IS summer after all - slow season!) or I'm nuts!!!

Oops! "Contents" page (page 1) shows last posting from Q Tip 1 hr 33min ago. Inside the forum it reads started by Admin 23 hrs 53 min ago & last post from GlenGate 1 hr 16 min ago, with 4 new replies... Still can't get to the last 3.

I have a different question since the site changed. How can I tell if I have a reply to a "contact user" message? I think before it would indicate at the top of the home page. Now I don't see a place. If I have a reply, will it automatically appear somewhere? Sorry; thank you!

I didn't incorporate a private message system. I felt it was superfluous to email on this type of website. I may add a private message system to the website's next stage of development, depending on what direction we go in.
If you want to contact anyone click the envelop in the bottom left corner of one of their posts, or go to their profile and click the contact tab. That will allow you to send a plan old email.
